How Implemented

Produce an Application Profile for each of the 'Customer Journeys' of that the organsiation wishes to support, illustrating where LGAL is to be used, along with other vocabularies, and the mappings that enable information resources to be joined up as a result.

Also, can be used as the basis of researching the usage of services / channels etc and defining demographies.

Can be used with a Citizen Index by explicitly asking an individual to describe themselves using term(s) from the list.

Can be used to derive a term for a Citizen Index based on Intelligence of Address, Name.

Benefits

Enables relevant information to be pro-actively 'pushed' to target groups.

Enables external intelligence about the preferences and service useage from customer groups to influence improvements to service design, e.g. some services via SMS messaging on Mobile Phones, local presence providing targetted services, in particular communities with a signicant audience type.
